I am an Associate Professor of Information Systems at Korea University Business School. My research focuses on Artificial Intelligence, IT and Societal Outcomes, and Business Analytics, investigating how AI applications and digital technologies impact local economies, consumer behaviors, and business ecosystems.
Prior to joining Korea University in 2020, I served as a faculty member at Sungkyunkwan University (2017–2020) and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore (2015–2017). I received my Ph.D. in Information Systems from Arizona State University in 2015.
My work has been published in leading journals including MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Journal of Management Information Systems, and Expert Systems with Applications. I also serve as a Director Board member at the KU ESG Research Institution and have consulted for companies including NAVER, Kakao Mobility, LG Electronics, Samsung Electronics, NAVER WebToon, Hospitals, Banks, Law Firms, Concsulting Frims and Goverment Agencies.

Co-developed the DCXI model with the Korean Standards Association (KSA) and Korea University CDTB, evaluating digital customer experience across industries. [KSA]
Published an opinion piece on the Fair Trade Commission's Platform Competition Promotion Act, arguing it could create reverse discrimination against domestic platforms and accelerate threats from foreign e-commerce to local small businesses. [Article]
